CR (Conversion Rate)
CR (Conversion Rate) is the share of users who reach the target action. In PWA you usually track several CRs across funnel stages.
How CR is calculated
CR = target actions / total / ×100%. For example, 400 installs from 1000 clicks — click-to-install CR 40%. Counted per funnel step separately.
Which CRs matter in PWA
The key ones: click-to-install CR (how well the showcase hooks) and install-to-deposit CR (how paying the traffic is). Together they show where the funnel loses money.
FAQ
- Which CR is the main one?
- You watch the whole funnel, but money comes from install-to-deposit CR: many installs with weak deposit conversion will not pay off.
- How do I raise click-to-install CR?
- A fast light showcase, a clear icon and name, a relevant prelander and split tests of variants.
- Are CR and CTR the same?
- No: CTR is clickability (clicks/impressions), CR is conversion to a target action after the click.
