Keitaro

Keitaro is a popular self-hosted tracker for traffic arbitrage: you install it on your own server, and it handles click routing, split testing, reporting, and postbacks.

What Keitaro does

Beyond basic geo/device routing, Keitaro keeps detailed stats on every click and conversion, integrates with anti-bot services and dozens of ad networks and affiliate programs, and can both receive and send postbacks for conversion attribution.

Keitaro and PWA arbitrage

In a typical setup, Keitaro sits in front of the PWA: it takes the click from the ad network, passes the sub-ID into the PWA URL, then receives an S2S postback confirming the conversion from the offer or the PWA itself. APEX's built-in postbacks/S2S (including a Keitaro↔FB CAPI link) can be wired up without writing custom integration scripts.

FAQ

Do you need Keitaro if the PWA already has split tests and filters built in?
Not necessarily for a single simple flow — the PWA platform's own tools may be enough. Keitaro earns its place once you're running many sources, offers, and funnels at once and need one unified report across all of them.
How much does running Keitaro cost?
Beyond the tracker's own license, you need a separate server and someone to maintain it — a modest but ongoing cost, unlike tools that ship built into the PWA platform itself.
