Mobile proxy

A mobile proxy is an IP address that belongs to a real mobile carrier network (4G/5G), dynamically reassigned across many real subscribers. To anti-fraud systems it looks organic, unlike a datacenter IP, which is far easier to flag as proxy traffic.

Why mobile IPs are harder to block

Carriers constantly reassign the same IP to different real users, so blocking it would hit real people, not just buyers, which platforms are reluctant to do. A datacenter IP, by contrast, belongs only to servers and is much easier to detect.

Where mobile proxies fit into PWA arbitrage

They're mostly used for farming and warming ad accounts, and for checking how a campaign and landing look through the eyes of a genuine mobile user. That covers the buyer's side — accounts and devices — while filtering incoming visitor traffic on the offer side, which is what APEX's antibot and IP-intel do by screening out datacenter and known proxy IPs, covers the other half of the job.

FAQ

Why are mobile proxies better than datacenter ones?
They look like ordinary carrier traffic rather than a server IP, so they trigger fewer automatic anti-fraud blocks. Datacenter proxies are cheaper but far easier for platforms to detect.
Do you need a mobile proxy to run traffic to a PWA?
Not for running the ads themselves — that's more of a tool for account farming and testing. Incoming traffic quality on the PWA and offer side is controlled separately, through antibot filtering on the landing.
