Before launching an MVT, work out the number of cells from your variable and variant count and compare it against current daily traffic and baseline conversion rate — if the math shows each cell won't gather a meaningful number of conversions in an acceptable timeframe, it's smarter to cut variables or fall back to sequential single-element A/B tests instead.
